Description
During the '50s and early '60s, Cabernet Sauvignon was mainly used as a blending grape in Australia. But the great Max Schubert had a dream of making a fantastic Australian red wine that could last at least 20 years. So he created Penfolds' first 100% Cabernet wine, Bin 707. Today, it's made by Peter Gago, the fourth-ever chief winemaker at Penfolds. It's savoury and full-bodied, with flavours of black fruits, chocolate, mint and vanilla. Try it with a grilled steak or cellar until 2050.
