Imelia Rosé 2023, Coteaux d’Aix en Provence

Description

The vineyards of Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence are the furthest west of the Provence appellations. The vines here are protected from the cold, dry Mistral winds thanks to the mountainous ridges, which ensure excellent levels of sunshine year-round allowing for beautifully ripe fruit and deliciously vibrant wines. Winemaker, Auriane Garnier grew up in the area and uses her expert knowledge of the unique terroir to create this perfectly fresh wine. Pretty pink colour with lychee hues, it’s bold red fruit flavours and balanced by fine acidity. This fruity yet delicate wine is perfect as an aperitif, or with grilled vegetables and lighter white fish dishes.
