Description
The Mega Spileo Estate is set in the heart of a national geopark, a protected area of tall mountains, dramatic plateaus and sheer gorges. Grapes are plucked from the historical vineyard of the Mega Spileo monastery, which has over five centuries of wine-production history. Once the fruit is harvested, celebrated winemaker Stelios Tsiris works his magic in the Cavino cellars. Roasted nuts, fruity marmalade, herbs, minerals â this white blend of Assyrtiko and Lagorthi grapes from the Peloponnese in Greece is bursting with evocative flavours. Itâs well-structured and lush with refreshing acidity and a long finish. No wonder itâs bagged two gold medals at international wine competitions.
