It’s still run by the founding family, with fourth-generation Giancarlo Tommasi heading up the winemaking. Straddling the border between Veneto and Lombardy, close to the southern shores of Lake Garda, sits Lugana. The white wines from this region have grabbed the attention of UK wine lovers thanks to their wonderfully crisp and aromatic profiles. Made from the traditional Turbiana grape, Tommasi’s bottling is a classic representation.
