Starting off as a wine seller in the 1920s, today Botter focuses on crafting their own bottlings using primarily native grape varieties. Third-generation owners Annalisa, Alessandro and Luca have pushed the business forward in recent years, while winemaker Massimo Donadi applies his inside-out knowledge of the Veneto region – the place he has worked ever since he was a young graduate. Delicate aromas of bread and yeast mingle in with fruity notes of mature apple. With its long finish, this sparkling blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Gris would be excellent with vegetables or seafood risotto, as well as fish dishes and delicate white meats.
