Description

Crafted exclusively from the indigenous Nero d'Avola grape, this wine showcases Sicily's winemaking prowess. The grapes are hand-harvested in September, and the wine undergoes cold maceration followed by a two-week fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. A six-month ageing in used barriques adds depth, complemented by four months of bottle refinement. The result is an intensely coloured wine, with rich aromas of cherries and sweet spices, underpinned by a well-structured and lingering palate.
