Salvaterra was founded in 2014 by a group dedicated to showing the best of Venetian wines. Today, they’re regarded as a leading name for exceptional wines – at fantastic value for money. A blend of 60% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 15% Rondinella, this wine is made in the classic Ripasso style. It’s a style made famous in Valpolicella where the wine is re-fermented with skins leftover from making Amarone – which pushes it into another dimension of flavour and complexity. It’s elegant and refined, with fruity notes of red fruits, a pinch of black pepper and hints of cocoa. With fine tannins and a fresh acidity, it’s the ideal wine to enjoy with charcuterie or tomato-based pasta sauces.
