Cantine Maschio has been making internationally celebrated Prosecco since the 1970s. Bonaventura Maschio turned his family’s century-old distillery into a state-of-the-art winery, capable of producing exceptional fizz. Winemaker Gabriele Cescon ensures their prized Glera grapes are handled with the utmost care. She prefers to use ‘free-run juice’ – high-quality liquid produced when grapes are naturally crushed under their own weight. It means minimal contact with bitter compounds, resulting in elegant wines with pure, fresh flavours. ‘Extra Dry’ means it’s not as dry as the Brut style – so expect fresh notes of white peach, orange blossom and almond.
