Beautifully fruity Italian Vermentino that reflects its unique Tuscan terroirs. The Banfi estate extends from the South of Montalcino, to the borders of the Val d’Orcia. Of the 7, 100 acres of land, about one third is under vines, with the rest occupied by olive groves, fruit trees and woodland. Winemaker Gabriele Pazzaglia has been with Banfi for over 20 years, starting out as a cellar hand in 2000. His passion for producing Tuscan wines reflective of the unique terroir shines through as Castello Banfi was the first winery in the world to be awarded international recognition for exceptional environmental, ethical and social responsibility. Expect aromas of citrus and sage, yellow peach and floral highlights. Lively and vibrant, it’s savoury and fruity on the palate with a long and harmonious finish. Great with shellfish dishes and fresh summer salads.
