Château Lanessan 2013, Haut-Médoc

Description

A mellow wine, it has complex savoury aromas of forest floor, figs and dates leading to a supple palate. From the 2013 vintage, it is relatively light mid palate with some grippy tannins on the finish and lingering flavours. Chateau Lanessan is one of the oldest properties in the Medoc and has been owned by the Bouteiller family for eight generations. Wine aside, the family are passionate for all things equestrian and the estate also houses stables and a horse museum
