Description
Château Lynch-Moussas dates back to 1850 and was given prestigious Cru status in the legendary 1855 Bordeaux classification. But things really picked up, in 1969, when it was bought by the owner of Château Batailley. A state-of-the-art winery renovation and extensive replanting soon took place. In the years since, the estate has consistently produced fantastic claret. This vintage is no exception, earning 93 from Wine Enthusiast. It’s bold and silky with notes of rose, blueberry, blackberry, and chocolate with hints of smoke. Its balance of fruity and savoury flavours will perfectly complement rack of lamb with mushrooms.
