Home to viticulture since the Roman times, the IGP Côtes de Gascogne shares the same area of production as the Armagnac appellation. Gascony is also famous for its rich gastronomy and its “douceur de vivre”, or easy-living atmosphere. And that is translated to this easy-drinking wine. The winemaking process is designed to preserve freshness and enhance aromas, with the grapes harvested at night when temperatures are low. The result is intense and fruity, with notes of fresh tropical fruit and grapefruit and an unctuous finish. Enjoy slightly chilled as an aperitif or with marinated vegetables, grilled fish and shellfish.
