Every year, on the third Thursday of November, the freshest Beaujolais is released, just weeks after the harvest. ‘Beaujolais Nouveau’ day is celebrated throughout the region and in wine bars all over Europe. This year saw a small harvest, but we’ve secured another limited parcel from the fantastic Domaine Pardon et Fils, a seventh-generation family winery. Last year, it sold out within days. It’s light, elegant, full of strawberry, blueberry and redcurrant and a real treat with a ham quiche. Due to French law, we can’t sell this wine until 00: 01 on Thursday 16th November. If you include this in your Shop Local order before then, we will have it ready on this date.
