Description
If you're a fan of vibrant whites like New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, then wines from France’s Gascogne region make a great alternative choice. The warm climate and clay-limestone soils produce wines full of tropical-fruit flavours with zippy, fresh acidity. The Duffour family have been making wine here since the 1950s, and their approach has always been quality over quantity. They prune their vines regularly, which in turn, produce fewer grapes but with maximum flavour. The vines that make Vinum are over 30 years old, resulting in a wine with delicious, concentrated flavour. It’s incredibly aromatic with exotic white peach and tropical-fruit notes. Its citrusy flavours and crisp acidity will complement fresh seafood dishes perfectly.
