Gaia believe in celebrating unique local Greek grape varieties – in fact, that’s been their goal since day one. Since 1994 they’ve worked to raise the profile of the country’s native grapes, harvesting from the island of Santorini as well as the Peloponnese, and exporting to 25 countries around the world. Founders Yiannis Paraskevopoulos and Leon Karatsalos have travelled extensively and apply their acquired international knowledge to the making of this very Greek wine. A blend of three of the Peloponnese’s leading white grapes – Roditis, Moschofilero and Assyrtiko – that’s bursting with freshness. Crisp, fruity and dry, the aromas of citrus and white flowers are a reflection of the high-elevation vineyards in the sun-soaked Peloponnese. A fantastic match for grilled salmon.
