Description
The Pion family have been distributors of independent Burgundy wineries since 1949. Today, they represent more than 400 estates, including the prestigious Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Georges Roumier, Armand Rousseau and Domaine Leflaive to name but a few. The current generation, brothers Oliver and Christian, wanted to take the business one step further. With the family’s knowledge and expertise behind them, they’ve begun making wine themselves. The Pernand-Vergelesse appellation is found on the hillsides of the Côte de Beaune and produces both red and white wines of finesse and elegance. Expect notes of white stone fruits, honeysuckle and flinty minerality, the perfect accompaniment to fresh seafood.
