Description

Kanonkop is undoubtedly one of the top estates in South Africa and their highly sought after Pinotage shows this South African variety, a crossing between Pinot Noir and Cinsault, at its best. Full-bodied and concentrated with lashings of spicy oak integrated seamlessly in with the ripe fruits, red and black berries, raspberry, plum and hints of banana. Whilst drinking well now, this wine will benefit from a few years of bottle age. Pinotage is a good match for stews or barbecued meat.
