Description
Founded in 1960 by 33 growers, La Guardiense is one of Campaniaâs most important cooperatives. Since its founding, itâs grown to 1000 growers covering 2000 hectares in Sannio, a hilly area north of Naples. Riccardo Cotarella is at the helm of the operation âand heâs president of the International Union of Oenologists. He crafts this wine from Falanghina â an ancient Italian variety â and showcases exactly why it's quickly gaining popularity around the world. Expect floral and herbal notes with ripe flavours of tropical fruit. Its refreshing acidity makes it an ideal pairing for white meat or soft cheese.
