He works with growers across the country to source the best grapes for each of his wines – and in this Chardonnay, he shows just what his team can do with the popular variety. It’s made with grapes from the Crouch Valley in Essex, where a warm growing season and low levels of rainfall create the ideal conditions for ripe, full-flavoured fruit. Here's how it tastes: It’s complex, elegant and creamy with notes of apricot, peach, apple skin and sweet spices.
