Famed for Verdejo – an ancient grape introduced to the area over a thousand years ago – Rueda is the source of expressive, aromatic whites with a reputation for ageability. Now under the talented ownership of second-generation Cristina Forner, Marqués de Cáceres have achieved an international reputation for exceptional Verdejo. Aromatically comparable to Sauvignon Blanc, you can expect bright notes of crunchy apple, ripe peach and grapefruit. Its zesty acidity will complement herby fish dishes or a Greek salad.
