Description
This Pinotage is a refine expression of South Africa's signature grape. The majority of the grapes are sourced from 30-year-old vines in Stellenbosch, with additional fruit coming from an organically-farmed bush vine in Swartland. Hand-harvested and wild fermented, the resulting wine is aged for nine months in Burgundian oak barrels, promising to evolve over the next 7-10 years. Dark forest fruits and wild berries with a medium body, united with grippy tannins and a fresh acidity – truly a well rounded and exceptional pinotage.
