Description

Soberano has an impressive history. It’s made by sherry greats González Byass, and it certainly lives up to their celebrated reputation. Its name, meaning ‘sovereign’, was chosen over 100 years ago to mark the friendship between the González family and the then-King of Spain. This bottle is matured at González Byass’ historic bodega in Jerez, where it spends 12 years in ex-Oloroso sherry casks and a traditional solera system. All this brings intense flavours and aromas, as well as an elegant mahogany colour. It's deliciously velvety, complex and rounded with notes of oak, honey, balsamic, caramel and nuts. What’s more, it was awarded 91 points by the IWSC.
