Founded by Pablo Morandé in 1996, this pioneering winery in Chile's Maipo Valley is renowned for its innovation, including being the first to plant in Casablanca Valley. Winemaker Ricardo Baettig, with extensive experience in Italy, leads the production of highly acclaimed wine with sustainability at the forefront of their ethos. Cabernet Sauvignon thrives in Maipo Valley’s diverse soils and ideal climate, producing grapes of exceptional quality – that create wines with complexity, depth and unique character. Sustainably certified, fruit for this wine is hand-harvested before fermentation in stainless steel and ageing in French oak for around a year before release. This Cabernet is full-bodied with velvety tannins and notes of dark chocolate, tobacco, and a touch of spice. It pairs excellently with red meats – think steak, hearty stews, lamb chops or a classic Beef Wellington.
