Trapiche ‘Tesoro’ Chardonnay 2022/23, Uco Valley

Description

With more than 135 years of grape growing in Argentina under their belts, Trapiche knows the Mendoza. They’ve pioneered winemaking from the foot of the Andes in Mendoza all the way to the coast, working 1, 000 hectares of their own vineyards and collaborating with hundreds of local growers to create top-notch bottlings. Under the stewardship of long-serving winemaker Sergio Eduardo Casé, they were recently named Best New World Winery by Wine Enthusiast. This Chardonnay hails from Los Arboles in Mendoza’s Uco Valley, and has a buttery, creamy finish balanced with aromas of red apples, mango and lemon zest. Pair it with white meats, pasta with white sauce and fresh cheeses.
