Villiera Wines has been in the Grier family’s hands since 1983. Today, they have a strong ethical reputation. The winery is solar-powered, they’ve planted thousands of trees, use no insecticides and are a wildlife sanctuary. This Merlot was made by Nathan Valentine, who earned his stripes at the renowned De Morgenzon winery, as well as in California and the south of France. You can taste his expertise in every sip. Expect flavours of ripe plum, damson, red cherry and smoky vanilla and elegant tannins. Partner with pan-seared tuna steak.
