Circumstance Distillery Single Grain Rye Whisky is distilled from a combination of 51% malted rye / 49% malted barley and fermented on beer and mead yeasts (the team specialise in using non-traditional yeasts to find new flavours). Then the whisky spent more than three years resting in a mix of Bourbon, new European oak, and Oloroso sherry-conditioned casks. Only 473 bottles made!. Green apples and honey, spiced sugar and that distinctive rye note come straight out of the glass. Vanilla and oak on the finish with just a lick of warming pepperiness. Lush.
