Description

Lemon quartz is a variety of quartz, with a bright yellow hue, created by heating amethyst, yellow quartz and iron together. Lemon quartz is known as a stone of happiness, bringing uplifting energy and optimism to the wearer. This round faceted lemon quartz measures 8mm. Lemon quartz has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale and a specific gravity of 2.65. Please note that due to the nature of the stone, each stone is unique so colours will vary and slight natural inclusions and zoning may be present. Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place lemon quartz stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Lemon quartz can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix and an untreated cloth. It is advised to avoid exposing lemon quartz to prolonged periods of heat and light. A slight tolerance of +/- 0.25mm should be expected with these stones and these lemon quartz are sold individually.
