Solid Rustic Timber To make these low-level chests of drawers we select top quality, unsorted, kiln-dried pine. Each is cut to size and finished in our signature rustic style. This leaves in lots of natural timber characteristics and features. Mother Nature's own stamp of approval. In this style, you can expect to find splits, cracks, knots, shakes, waney edges, bows and twists, along with machine marks in keeping with the rustic style. Your furniture will come with felt protectors, please use these on the bottom of your new furniture to protect your flooring. You will need to make sure that any hard flooring (which includes wood, laminate and vinyl flooring) is completely dry and free from chemical residues before putting your new furniture into place. As this is a natural wood product with a wax finish any applied force, and friction, can cause the wax to transfer onto surfaces. If wax transfer does occur we may be able to recommend products to help remove or reduce the appearance of the transfer.
