Every year, the city of Lisbon is transformed into a lilac paradise by the blossoming of jacaranda trees. These flowers are a symbol of summer – and we wanted to capture that spirit in a wine. Made by Casa Santos Lima, one of Portugal’s most respected producers, this is a bright and bright blend that’s full of Mediterranean charm. For the 2023 vintage, Majestic worked with the producer of Floracao to refresh the blend in the style of ‘Vinho Leve' wines that are popular in Portugal. Rosé wines made in this style are made to be lighter in alcohol (the 2023 vintage is 9. 5% abv), slightly off-dry and with flavours of strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant. To capture the freshness, the wine is bottled with a subtle spritz. Perfect for drinking on a warm summer day.
