The De Bortoli family story started nearly a century ago in war-torn Europe, but fast-forward to now and they are leaders in Australian winemaking at their Hemley vineyard in Riverina. Winemaker Roberto Delgado grew up in a vineyard and his approachable and generous signature style comes through in this bottling. Rich in flavours of ripe raspberry, cherry and spice, this is a crowd-pleasing and juicy wine with gentle tannins. A fine match indeed for antipasto, lamb or pizza.
