Franck Follin-Arbelet has a long connection to the celebrated Burgundian appellation of Aloxe-Corton. His ancestors owned vineyards here until the end of the 19th century, he holidayed here as a child, and he even married a local Aloxe-Corton girl, Christine. Her family happened to own some vines, so it felt natural that one day he’d end up making wine in the appellation himself. Championing simple and natural farming methods, he creates Pinot Noirs like this one, with real character. Try it with lamb, rib steak or poultry.
